Texts, Emails, and Notifications

By creating an account and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages from Cumberland Health regarding your appointments, account, and care. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
Some notifications are required so we can safely provide care through the app. These include things like appointment reminders, visit updates, provider messages, and important account information.
You can choose how you receive optional communications, such as general updates, by adjusting your notification preferences in the app.
- Optional text messages can be stopped at any time by replying STOP
- Push notifications can be turned on or off through your device settings or app settings
- Notifications will not include protected health information (PHI)
Please note that text messages and email may not always be fully secure. Anyone who has access to your phone or email account may be able to see these notifications.
We use these communications to help provide care and keep your account up to date. Messages may include:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Appointment scheduling or cancellation updates
- Provider messages
- Password reset codes and account verification
- Important account or service notifications
These messages are sent only to users who create an account and provide their contact information.
